First off, Final Fantasy 3½ is NOT the sequel or in any way related to
Final Fantasy 3.  In fact, Final Fantasy 3½ is in no way affiliated or
recognized by the SquareEnix corporation.  A note:  This production
is merely for entertainment purposes and will not be sold for profit
at any time.  Any unauthorized marketing of this product is strictly
prohibited.  And now, onto the storyline.

In Final Fantasy 3½ you play as Nikito, a wayward Ninja
living on his own for the first time.  Nikito has mystic and
strange powers that generally harm him, such as causing
sleep deprivation and loss of appetite.   He always must take
his medication with plenty of water, and two times per day.
But, that is besides the point.  Final Fantasy 3½ combines the
hard hitting action of a tile-based scrolling overworld with
the tediously monotonous side view style battle system.  Right
off the bat, the player is immersed in one of Nikito's vivid dream
sequences, and then promptly awoken back into the real world.
However, the dream holds a harsh and blatantly obvious message:
the Demon Lord in the Northlands has been awoken, and there
is no telling where or when he will first strike.  The townsfolk in
Nikito's hometown really have no advice for him.  They all simply
tell him that he has been trained in the deadly arts, so he should
take care of it himself.  Soon thereafter, Nikito ventures into a
supposedly abandoned mansion where he meets a noble hero
from ages past.  There is no telling who it will be, for Nikito makes
the choice.  The Pirate, who actually looks and fights like a knight,
the wizard, who actually looks like a wizard, or the Ranger, who
is abnormally weak.  Nikito and this newfound companion travel
to the kingdom where commonfolk are not allowed to venture into
the castle walls.  The castle, mind you, is the actual palace where
the king lives, not the walls of the town.  Nikito and his companion
enter into this unknown realm, and there fight terrors that the likes
of man have never seen before.  After defeating the secrets within
this castle, Nikito finds his true quest... to defeat the Demon
Lord in the Northlands, which he already knew anyway, but
nobody really cared what he had to say.  And thus the story
ends... but not really.  If you want the plot to be completely spoiled
then go onto GameFaqs and read one of the nonexistent walkthroughs.
If you have stumbled upon this site by accident, and now are
immensely interested in PLAYING this wonderful RPG style game...
TOO BAD!  It's not ready yet.  The BETA version will be released

when we feel like it.
